Genetically modified food policy statement
Ingredients Direct recognises and supports the opposition to food products that have been genetically modified. It's our policy that:

All products produced or any ingredients contained within such products do not contain any genetically modified ingredients.
No genetically modified organisms have been used as processing aids or additives in connection with the production of foods or any of their ingredients.
Genetically modified organisms have not been used to produce processing aids or additives that are used in connection with the production of foods.

Nut and nut products policy statement
Ingredients Direct is aware that some susceptible people suffer a severe allergic reaction after consuming nuts and nut products. It is therefore the company's policy that:

No Nuts or Nut Products (including all cold pressed nut oils and unrefined nut oils) will be brought into or handled by Ingredients Direct within its production and warehouse areas.
No Sesame Seeds (including sesame seed oil and derivatives) will be brought into or handled by Ingredients Direct within its production and warehouse areas.
Information will be obtained from all Ingredients Direct suppliers on their nut and nut products policy and the information obtained will form an integral part of their assessment of suitability to supply the company.
